Trailblazers Terms and Conditions

1. Definitions

1.1 “Trailblazers” means Scott Stevens Golf Ltd t/a Trailblazers Junior Tour.

1.2 “Member” means the junior golfer whose name and details are specified in the online Trailblazers Membership Registration Form and/or the Trailblazers Event Entry Form.

1.3 “Membership Registration Form” means the online Membership Registration application form located on the Trailblazers website (www.trailblazerstour.com). Completion of the Member’s name and details thereon, together with submission of the online Membership Registration Form and payment of the applicable Membership fee represents an application by the Member for an annual Membership of the Trailblazers Junior Golf Tour. Such Membership lasts for up to 12 months in duration between the dates of 1st January and 31st December of the particular year to which the Membership Registration Form relates, and will entitle the Member to certain benefits, including discounted Event Entry Fees, as detailed on the Trailblazers website from time to time.

1.4 “Event Entry Form” means the document attached or otherwise annexed to or read in conjunction with these Terms & Conditions, which contains the Member’s name and details. Completion of the Event Entry Form represents an application by the Member for permission to participate in the Trailblazers Event specified therein.

1.5 “Responsible Adult” means the parent, legal guardian or other carer responsible for the Member, who has completed the Membership Registration Form and/or the Event Entry Form and has thereby entered into this Agreement with Trailblazers on the Member’s behalf.

1.6 “Trailblazers Event” means the junior golfing competition being held at the Host Venue on the date specified in the Event Entry Form.

1.7 “Host Venue” means the golfing venue specified on the Event Entry Form.

1.8 “Event Entry Fee” means the monetary cost payable to the party specified on the Event Entry Form as a prerequisite of the Member being permitted to compete in the Trailblazers Event.

1.9 “Order of Merit Event” means the Trailblazers Event in which competitors have the chance to gain a place in the Trailblazers Tour Championship Final. For the purposes of this Agreement, the Trailblazers Tour Championship Final counts as an Order of Merit Event.

1.10 “Winter Series Event” means an occasional stand-alone Trailblazers Event which does not form part of a series of Order of Merit Events. Participation in a Winter Series Event will not entitle any Member to gain entry into the Trailblazers Tour Championship or into any Order of Merit Event.

2. Whole Agreement, Acceptance of Terms, Confidentiality and Non- Competition

2.1 The Terms and Conditions set out herein represent the whole Agreement between Trailblazers and the Responsible Adult to the exclusion of all other terms and conditions.

2.2 No further terms shall be added and no variation shall be made to these Terms and Conditions without the express written consent of Trailblazers.

2.3 By completing the online Membership Registration Form and/or the Event Entry Form , the Responsible Adult acknowledges receipt of a copy of, and shall be deemed to have agreed accepted and be bound by, the Terms and Conditions set out herein.

2.4 The Responsible Adult agrees to keep the content of these Terms and Conditions confidential and further agrees not to copy or use , whether directly or indirectly, the content or information contained herein, or in any document referred to herein, or any document, device or procedure belonging to or provided by Trailblazers, save for the sole purpose of the Member’s participation in the Trailblazers Event, and in particular will not disclose or use such document, device, procedure, content or information for the purposes of managing, or assisting any other person or organisation to manage, any event or business which may compete with Trailblazers. 

3. Payment of the Event Entry Fee & Late Entry Charges

3.1 The Responsible Adult will pay the Event Entry Fee or otherwise cause it to be paid to the party specified before the closing date specified on the Event Entry Form prior to the Trailblazers Event.

3.2Event Entry Forms and/or Event Entry Fees received after the closing date will result in the Member being charged an additional late entry administration fee of £5.00.

3.3 In the case of an Order of Merit Event or a Winter Series Event, payment shall be made directly to Scott Stevens Golf Limited.

3.5 In the event of cancellation of an Order of Merit Event or of a Winter Series Event, Trailblazers will refund any pre- paid Event Entry Fee to the paying party.


4. Obligations of The Responsible Adult

4.1 To ensure that all information concerning the Member provided on the Membership Registration Form and/or Event Entry Form is correct, and to notify Trailblazers immediately of any change in such information.

4.2 To ensure to the best of his/her ability that the Member is not suffering from any illness, infectious or otherwise, on the date of the Trailblazers Event.

4.3 To ensure that the Member is accompanied and supervised by an appropriate adult companion throughout the duration of the Trailblazers Event. The said adult companion will be responsible for the welfare and conduct of the Member and must ensure that the Member adheres to the Trailblazers Rules of Play (details of which can be viewed/downloaded on http://www.trailblazerstour.com ) and must further ensure that the Member conducts himself/herself in a courteous and sportsmanlike manner at all times throughout the Trailblazers Event.

4.4 To remove the Member from the Host Venue if required to do so by any Trailblazers Official or Franchisee hosting the Trailblazers Event where that Official or Franchisee in his /her absolute discretion deems that either the Member or his/her accompanying adult companion has acted in a disruptive, destructive, aggressive, dangerous or otherwise unacceptable manner, or in such manner as is likely to damage the reputation of Trailblazers.

5 Disciplinary Matters

5.1 Trailblazers reserves the right to exclude the Member, his/her adult companion or the Responsible Adult from attending or participating in any Trailblazers Event, either permanently or temporarily, where it has been deemed that all or any such persons have behaved in an unacceptable manner.

5.2 The standard of behaviour deemed to be unacceptable shall be at the sole discretion of Trailblazers, but for the avoidance of doubt will include any breach of these Terms and Conditions or any deliberate attempt to provide misleading information concerning the Member or his/her participation in any Trailblazers Event.

6 Exclusion of Liability

Trailblazers makes no warranties or representations as to the safety or suitability of the Host Venue, its staff or any equipment provided for the purposes of any Trailblazers Event, and Trailblazers will accept no liability for any death injury or loss howsoever caused to the Member or any other person participating in or attending any Trailblazers Event. Accordingly any such participation is entirely at the risk of the Responsible Adult.
